一、教材分析
Unit 12 You are supposed to shake hands.本單元主要學習不同國家的餐桌禮儀,讓學生了解在不同場合下,怎樣做才能表現(xiàn)的禮貌得體。
二、學情分析
1、學生能在自主學習的環(huán)境中探索、合作、交流。
2、學生能夠通過對話練習、多媒體課件教學,迅速掌握所學內(nèi)容。
3、學生能在語言環(huán)境中提出問題、分析問題、解決問題。
[設計理念]采用合作學習和小組討論方式組織教學。在教學活動中,將本單元各環(huán)節(jié)自然銜接起來,學生在輕松、愉快的學習氛圍中掌握本單元的教學內(nèi)容。
三、教學目標分析
1、知識與技能目標
⑴掌握單詞:shake hands ,custom, bow, kiss, drop by, after all
⑵正確運用短語:be supposed to, should do sth,
⑶句型:A: What are you supposed to do when you meet someone for the first time?
B: We are supposed to shake hands/bow/kiss.
2、情感目標
⑴通過小組討論的活動方式來激發(fā)學生的學習積極性和興趣,使學生在小組合作學習活動中大膽用英語交流。
⑵關注學生的個性發(fā)展,為學生創(chuàng)設寬松、民主、和諧的課堂氣氛。
四、教學重點難點分析
重點:要求學生掌握be supposed to do sth的句型,小組討論并進行對話表演,充分運用動作、表情、手勢來體現(xiàn)較真實的語言環(huán)境。
難點:學生對西方國家的風俗習慣不了解,特別是初次見面時,人們通常是怎樣表達的。
A: What are you supposed to do when you meet someone?
B: We are supposed to bow/kiss/shake hands.
[設計理念]為了很容易地突破這個難點,可以讓學生課下上網(wǎng)查閱有關資料,然后在上課進行小組討論,并整合每個組得到的信息;然后由小組長代表全組成員表達他們組的信息資料給全班同學。
五、教學方法設計
充分利用多媒體課件上課,采用情景法、游戲法、小組討論合作法,為學生創(chuàng)設輕松、真實的語言學習環(huán)境。
六、參與式活動分析
學生活動一:在班內(nèi)評選十名文明標兵參加學校評比,讓每個學生寫出自己心目中的文明標兵的標準。

ones in your class?
Students make lists all the standards.
eg.1. They’re supposed to say, Good morning ,teachers. ”when
they meet their teachers.
2.They’re supposed to obey all the school rules.
3.They’re supposed to be friendly and helpful to others.
4.They’re not supposed to quarrel with others.
[設計理念]教師用多媒體給學生一些圖片,讓學生小組談論在學校應該做到哪些禮儀。小組發(fā)言,討論文明標兵的十大標準,讓學生評出班內(nèi)十個文明標兵。
學生活動二:
Teacher: What are you supposed to do to leave a good impression
on others?
Have the students talk about their ideas.
[設計理念]教師先以各國初次見面的禮儀引入,讓學生分組討論中國的社交禮儀。然后小組活動,每個小組討論一個不同國的社交禮儀。最后小組匯報,談論各個國家的社交禮儀。
七、教學流程設計
Step1. Revision
1、Greetings. 2、Duty report (Oral English training)
3、Review table manners expressions.
[設計理念]教師親切的問候可以溝通師生情感,激發(fā)學生的學習興趣,使學生很快就融入課堂教學中。
Step2. Presentation
1、Tell what you are supposed to do in your school.
2、Match the countries with the customs.
3、Talk about what people in different countries do when they meet for
the first time.
4、Talk about our school manners.
[設計理念]通過小組合作學習使課堂氣氛活躍,能充分調(diào)動學生的積極性和主動性,學生的合作意識會在活動中得到充分的展示。
Step3. Listening and matching
Listen to the tape for what people do when they meet for the first time, then look at the pictures and match the countries with the customs. Check the answers.
[設計理念]從視、聽、說等方面使學生得到鍛煉,使學生在愉快、輕松的氛圍中溫故而知新,達到用英語交際的目的。
Step4. Doing pairwork
Let the students practice in pairs.
Eg.S1: What are you supposed to do when you meet someone for the first time?
S2: We are supposed to shake hands/bow/kiss.
Now they tell each other what they know about meeting for the first time.
[設計理念]通過師生、生生互動對本課的展示,把教材內(nèi)容活化為生活實際,把學習活化為交際,在輕松愉快的環(huán)境中使學生了解本課所學知識。
Step5 Discussing
Teacher: What kind of students do you think is the best behaved

[設計理念]合作學習鼓勵學生主動思考和主動探索,學生的進取意識、創(chuàng)新意識能較好地得到強化。小組合作學習使每個學生平等地參與學習,并有充分發(fā)言和表現(xiàn)自己的機會。
Homework: Ask students to do some exercises after class.
[教學反思]在英語教學過程中,我注重最大限度地營造富有情趣、民主平等、和諧默契的課堂氛圍。采用多種方式使學生的思維更加活躍,探索熱情更加高漲。輕松愉快的情感有利于學生在進行認知活動中學會關愛、理解、寬容、分享、激勵、合作,師生就在這些情景中進行著一種情景交融的教學活動。教師全身心融入課堂教學之中,用發(fā)自內(nèi)心的情感去感染學生。師生感情在得到交流的同時學生潛能得到激發(fā)。并且在聽、說、讀、寫實際活動中提高學生的語言運用能力,使學生在主動參與、體驗、交流、合作、探究等多種學習活動中把教材內(nèi)容活化為生活實際,把學習活化為交際,讓學生在活的課堂中愉快遨游。
