 Sotheby's Institute of Art - New YorkThe Institute in New York holds degree-granting authority from the Regents of the state of New York and has been an accredited member of the National Association of Art and Design since 1989. Programmes of StudyIn New York we offer three Master's Degree programmes in Art Business,Contemporary Art, and American Fine and Decorative Art. A two-semester Graduate Certificate is also available to students who complete the required coursework for the MA but who do not wish to write a Master's Degree Thesis. We also offer two-year Interior Design option, which enables students to supplement their Master’s degree studies at Sotheby’s Institute of Art with Interior Design studies at the New York School of Interior Design (NySID). A range of Summer Study and Short Courses are also offered. Your pathway to a career in the international art worldThe Institute has over 6,000 alumni worldwide, many of whom direct galleries, work in museums, foundations and auction houses, or pursue careers in art journalism, consulting and related professions.
