A giant five-storey slide has been builtinside a shopping mall in the Pudong area of Shanghai city, east China.

The multi-coloured ride, which has beenplaced directly in the centre of the Pujian outlet of Printemps DepartmentStore, is expected to open to the public in March, reports thePeople'sDaily Online.

Photos of the massive chute were recentlyposted online in a bid to generate interest, but many people have expresseddoubts over its safety.

Great Idea for many buildings, no waitingin elevators or escalators or stairs. It would just be efficient and fun. Youwould need some monitoring though in certain places, or have green light andred lights
