貝尼·格森鮑爾（以色列）水彩作品展

    Beni Gassenbauer paints big, luminous, figurative watercolors. Being fascinated by the strong light contrasts, he chooses watercolor because it provides him the necessary transparency for painting the Mediterranean light that burst out in the brightness of the sun and penetrates the deepest shadow, creating breathtaking, intense color contrasts. Beni invites us entering ancient gates, backyards, shadowed passageways, or balconies. There, he transmits to the audience his deep feelings of quietness and peace.

    Born in 1949 in France，Beni graduated from Dental Faculty, Strasbourg University.  He lives in Jerusalem, Israel, since forty years. Beni’s works  have been selected to participate in numerous international watercolor exhibitions, and have been collected by the Qingdao’s (China) and  the Izmir’s (Turkey) museums. He is now the head of the Israeli branch of the International Watercolor Society

    貝尼·格森鮑爾善于表現(xiàn)色彩亮麗和寫實的大幅水彩畫作。他選擇了透明性強的水彩畫來展現(xiàn)地中海那強烈陽光的參透性、鮮明的光影對比以及驚訝的色彩反差。其水彩畫作引導我們進入古城大門、后院或陽臺，或穿越陰暗的古老通道。在那里，他向觀眾傳達他感情深處的寧靜與平和。

    1949年出生于法國，貝尼畢業(yè)于法國斯特拉斯堡大學的牙科學院，移居以色列耶路撒冷已四十來年。他的水彩畫作多次入選參加許多國際水彩藝術展，其中作品被青島（中國）和伊茲密爾（土耳其）博物館收藏。他是國際水彩畫協(xié)會以色列分會主席。
