怎樣給1-6歲孩子選英文書？（附推薦書單）
在為孩子選擇英文故事書時(shí)，不但要依孩子的年齡，還要配合適合的故事型態(tài)來引導(dǎo)孩子。例如：一到三歲的孩子小肌肉的發(fā)展還不是很成熟，卻對(duì)翻書這個(gè)動(dòng)作非常有興趣，這個(gè)時(shí)候如果他一般的故事書，可能讀了幾次下來，故事書不是缺頁，就是被五馬分尸了。因此，在這個(gè)階段，其實(shí)可以準(zhǔn)備一些厚紙板的硬書 (board book)，當(dāng)孩子狀況好的時(shí)候，就逐頁的念給他聽。要不然就讓孩子隨意的翻閱，然后找機(jī)會(huì)對(duì)孩子說 “Look at the dog!” “Look at the boy.”“What’s this?”。當(dāng)然，書中的字句要少要短，而且字體一定要又大又清楚。四到六歲的小朋友對(duì)于故事的多元性，接受度就較高了。爸爸媽媽們可以先從小朋友較熟悉的題材去挑選故事，例如：小朋友去上學(xué)、學(xué)上廁所、養(yǎng)寵物、有了弟弟妹妹、房間有怪物等等。當(dāng)然，因?yàn)槭怯⑽墓适?，在初期，書中的插圖最好是越多越清楚越好，文字也是越精簡越好。一來父母閱讀時(shí)不會(huì)太吃力，二來小孩也不會(huì)有太多壓力。如能找到有聲書在旁輔助，增添一些音效就更 棒了。 
＊＊選英文繪本書的原則 剛開始想要以英文繪本來培養(yǎng)幼兒的英語能力的家長，可以抓住幾個(gè)重點(diǎn)：字少(不要給孩子太大的壓力)，圖畫清楚(可以看圖猜意思)，還有就是句型的重復(fù)性要高。藉由句型不斷的覆誦，孩子也容易跟著朗朗上口，最常見的例子就是連三歲孩子都可以「背誦」的Brown Bear, Brown BearWhat Do You See? (Bill Martin Jr. & Eric Carle)，故事中不斷重復(fù) “Brown Bear, Brown Bear,What do you see?” “I see a red bird looking at me.” “Red Bird, Red Bird, What do yousee?” “I see a yellow duck looking at me.”，孩子很容易就記住，甚至套用成 “Mommy,Mommy, what do you see?”來玩游戲。學(xué)齡前的孩子而言，這種重復(fù)性高、甚至可吟唱的繪本，是讓孩子開口說英文的好方法。 句型重復(fù)性高的繪本： - Does a Kangaroo Have a Mother, Too?
