     Good morning! One of my goals with this morning quote is to give you the tools you need to learn English quickly and painlessly. Today's quote, from Tony Robbins, is one of the essential pieces of the English learning puzzle -- setting goals. 

    早上好！我在做清晨引語的目的之一，就是讓你擁有更快、更輕松的手段去學習英語。今天的引語是來自安東尼·羅賓，它闡述了英語學習拼圖中最不可或缺的一塊——設定目標。

    We've all heard this advice before, from parents, teachers, friends, etc. Set goals if you want to be successful. But how many of us actually do it? Far too few. 

    我們都聽過同樣的建議，從父母、從老師、從朋友那里等等。如果你想成功，就先設立目標。但是我們當中又有多少人真的會去做呢？——真的太少太少了。

    One problem I see is people setting unrealistically high goals. This is influenced in part by the marketing we receive -- 'Just 5 minutes a day, and you can watch American TV series without subtitles!' Just like Hollywood sets unrealistic standards of beauty, these website advertisements set unrealistic expectations for learning English.    就我所知的一個問題就是，人們總是設置了很不現(xiàn)實的大目標。這是由于我們受到了商業(yè)的部分影響所導致——“一天只要花5分鐘，你就能輕松脫離字幕看美劇”！這就比好萊塢電影總是去設定一個很脫離實際的美女標準一樣，這些網(wǎng)站的廣告也是設定了很脫離實際的英語學習目標。

     Anyone who tells you you can become fluent in 5 minutes a day is a bald-faced liar.  So what are some more 'realistic' English goals?

      那些告訴你每天花5分鐘就會變得流利的人，都是無恥的騙子。那么，什么才是“切合實際”的英語目標呢？

   1) Practice speaking English 30 minutes a week with a native speaker.

          每周花30分鐘和英語人士練習說英語

       2) Memorize 5 new words a day and remember at least 90% of them one month later

          每天只記5個單詞，并且在一個月后還能記住90%的內(nèi)容

   3) Start reading (and finish!) an English-language novel

          開始讀（并能完成閱讀）一本英語小說

    Remember, the most important part of your goal is NOT the result, it's the process. Enjoy the process, and you'll easily stick with it.

     要記住，設立自己的目標最關鍵的點不是在于結果，而是過程。享受那個過程，你會發(fā)現(xiàn)自己輕松地養(yǎng)成了習慣。
