拉斐爾逝世時(shí)年僅37歲，但由于他勤勉的創(chuàng)作，給世人留下了300多幅珍貴的藝術(shù)作品。拉斐爾的作品博采眾家之長(zhǎng)，形成了自己獨(dú)特的風(fēng)格，是手法主義的代表人物，也代表了當(dāng)時(shí)人們最崇尚的審美趣味，成為后世古典主義者不可企及的典范。

拉斐爾代表作有油畫《西斯廷圣母》、壁畫《雅典學(xué)院》等。拉斐爾潛心研究各畫派大師的藝術(shù)特點(diǎn)，并認(rèn)真領(lǐng)悟，博采眾長(zhǎng)，尤其是達(dá)芬奇的構(gòu)圖技法和米開(kāi)朗基羅的人體表現(xiàn)及雄強(qiáng)風(fēng)格，最后形成了其獨(dú)具古典精神的秀美、圓潤(rùn)、柔和的風(fēng)格，成為和達(dá)芬奇、米開(kāi)朗基羅鼎足而立的文藝復(fù)興三杰。
The School of Athens,1510-1511
拉斐爾所繪畫的圣母畫像都以母性的溫柔以及青春健美，體現(xiàn)了人文主義思想。其中最有名的是《安西帝圣母》、《草地上的圣母》和《佛利諾的圣母》。1513年-1514年繪畫的大型油畫《西斯廷圣母》，由圣母和圣徒組成的三角形構(gòu)圖，莊重均衡，圣母和耶穌表現(xiàn)了母愛(ài)的偉大。另外，《椅上圣母子》、《阿爾巴圣母》都是拉斐爾完美無(wú)瑕的作品。
