Someone couldn't help making a secret inquiry of Socrates about the secret of success, “Sir, what method did you use to get the young girl?”

有人不禁偷偷去問蘇格拉底成功的秘訣：“先生，你是用了什么法子才追到那個年輕姑娘的？”

Socrates said, “I don't really have time to study this question, just focusing on doing my own things.”

蘇格拉底說：“我真沒時間研究這個問題，就只是專心致志地忙自己的事?！?/p>

The man didn't believe and went on asking, “What a beautiful girl! If you didn't pursue her, how would she love you?”

來人不信，又問：“那么漂亮的姑娘！要是你沒追，人家會愛上你？”

Looking up at the sky, Socrates said, “Please look at the moon in the sky. The more you try to follow her, the more she doesn't allow you to catch up; but when you hurry on with your journey wholeheartedly（全神貫注地）, she will follow you closely.”

蘇格拉底仰望天空，說道：“請看看天上的月亮吧。你越追她，她越不讓你追得上；可是當你全神貫注趕路的時候，她卻緊緊地跟在你身后?！?/p>
