誰(shuí)都渴望遠(yuǎn)離塵囂，日出而作，日落而息，過(guò)著自由自在、無(wú)拘無(wú)束的生活。

但很少有人能做到。不過(guò)現(xiàn)在有一個(gè)人，她做到了。

她就是李子柒，最近火遍全球的“東方美食生活家”。

本來(lái)在外打工的她，因?yàn)槟棠躺?，?dān)心如果自己再像以前一樣長(zhǎng)期不在老人身邊，或許自己將來(lái)會(huì)背上“子欲養(yǎng)而親不待”的悔念活一輩子，于是回到了老家。這也是她能成為李子柒最重要的一個(gè)人生轉(zhuǎn)折點(diǎn)。

The 29-year-old recently gained recognition both at home and abroad for her video recordings of life in her hometown of Mianyang, the second largest prefecture-level city in the province. She has millions of followers on YouTube and Bilibili, a Chinese video sharing platform.

Unlike more popular short videos, each of Li's videos usually lasts 10 minutes, recording an elaborate process of meal preparation from cultivating the basic ingredients to sharing the food with her grandmother in the backyard, and some handicrafts, like the China's 'scholar's four jewels,' – namely the writing brush, ink stick, ink slab and paper.

The idyllic setting and lifestyle also cast doubts as to whether she is portraying Chinese rural life authentically. Some hold the opinion that what Ziqi displays in her videos is an ideal that people are seeking after.

Scenes of the young vlogger picking seasonal ingredients from her own garden (and sometimes in the mountains and rivers near her residence) and turning them into luscious dishes on her wood-fired wok dominate her videos. A warm bowl of soup for the winter, a lighter plate of noodles for the summer. Li emphasizes the seasons in her cooking, as China's traditional 24 Solar Terms also do, and makes food suitable for the particular climate.
