One morning a countryman went to his goose’s nest, and saw a yellow and glittering egg there. He took the egg home. To his delight, he found that it was an egg of pure gold.

一天早晨，農(nóng)夫去他的鵝窩看見一只金光閃閃的蛋。他把蛋帶回了家。他驚喜的發(fā)現(xiàn)這是一枚純金蛋。

Every morning the same thing occurred, and he soon became rich by selling his eggs.

每天早上同樣的事情都會發(fā)生，他也靠賣金蛋逐漸變得富足起來。

The countryman became more and more greedy. He wanted to get all the gold at once, so he killed the goose, when he looked inside, he found nothing in its body.

農(nóng)夫變得越來越貪婪。他想立刻得到鵝肚子中所有的金蛋。于是他殺死了鵝，但是，在鵝的肚子里他什么也沒找到。
