One day a great general asks his soldiers, “What is the strongest power in the world?”

一天，一位偉大的將軍問他的士兵，“世界上最強大的力量是什么？”

Four of his soldiers put up their hands. 

他的四個士兵舉起他們的手。

They want to answer the question. 

他們想回答這個問題。

The general asks the first man to speak. 

將軍讓第一個人說。

The first man is younger than the other three, and he's not strong.

第一個人比其他三個都年輕，他不強壯。

He says, “My gun is the strongest. It can kill anyone.”

他說，“我的槍是最強大的。它可以殺了任何人?！?/p>

“Thank you. Next, please.”

“謝謝。下一個?！?/p>

The second man is very strong. 

第二個人很強壯。

He says, “I don't think that's true. Soldiers use guns. So a soldier is the strongest.”

他說，“我不這么認為。士兵用槍。所以士兵才是最強大的。”

The third man says, “Soldiers use guns, but our general gives orders. So I think our general is the strongest.”

第三個人說，“士兵用槍，但是我們將軍發(fā)指令。所以我認為我們將軍是最強大的?！?/p>

The fourth man is the oldest.

 第四個人是年齡最大的。

He says, “Love is the strongest. With love, people don't need guns.”

他說，“愛是最強大的。有了愛，人們不需要槍了。”

The general says nothing. He takes out a medal and gives it to him.

將軍什么都沒說。他拿出一枚獎?wù)陆唤o了他。
