人人都需要微笑，生活需要微笑，微笑能帶給人好心情，微笑是會(huì)傳染的。英文的微笑叫smile，今天我們來學(xué)習(xí)幾個(gè)smile的成語表達(dá)，

如果要描述一個(gè)人要笑起來的動(dòng)作，我們可以用這樣的說法：

break a smile

露出微笑；微笑起來

或：

crack a smile

露出笑容；展顏微笑

Mom broke a smile for a second even though she was scolding me.

盡管媽媽在責(zé)備我，有那么一會(huì)兒她還是露出了笑容。

He barely cracked a smile at his friend’s joke.

他很少會(huì)對(duì)他朋友開的玩笑露出笑容。

如果有人總是微笑，要不就是很開心，要不就是性情開朗樂觀，這時(shí)候我們說：

微笑時(shí)嘴巴總是會(huì)向兩邊咧開，笑得很開心時(shí)，嘴巴咧開的幅度也更大，英文里說：

他獲獎(jiǎng)時(shí)笑得合不攏嘴。

自己開心還不夠，想讓別人也開心，我們可以：

驚喜生日派對(duì)讓她很高興。

微笑應(yīng)該是發(fā)自內(nèi)心的，但有些時(shí)候有些人的笑卻很不由衷，這種虛假的、勉強(qiáng)的微笑英文中叫作：

a plastic smile

虛假的微笑；不由衷的微笑

I hate that plastic smile of hers.

我討厭她那虛假的微笑。

I could tell that he was wearing a plastic smile
and that something was bothering him.

我可以看得出來他笑得很勉強(qiáng)，有什么事在困擾著他。

最后說一下，smile作名詞用時(shí)常用havea …smile或wear a … smile的搭配，所以可以說一個(gè)人wear a happy/ cheerful smile，也可以說wear a shy/ sad/ polite/ plastic smile。如果說某人wear nothing but a smile，猜猜會(huì)是什么意思呢？
