prime=adj 主要的, 首要的
比如the prime suspect表示首要嫌疑犯
prime time=最重要的時間, 黃金時段
比如在晚上播出的電視節(jié)目就叫做prime time TV shows
而白天那些沒什么人看的節(jié)目可以叫daytime TV shows
在這里prime time我想就是指演講者在上千觀眾面前進行演講的這個時間
