as可以引導(dǎo)限制性定語(yǔ)從句，用來(lái)指代與先行詞同類型的人或物，在從句中作主語(yǔ)、賓語(yǔ)或表語(yǔ)。常用于such/so...as..., the same...as..., as many/ much...as..., as many/ much as...等句型中。

例1：Do you have such chairs as we like? 你有我們喜歡的那種椅子嗎？（as在從句中作動(dòng)詞like的賓語(yǔ)）

例2：We have so much milk as you need. 我們有很多你需要的牛奶。（as在從句中作動(dòng)詞need的賓語(yǔ)）

例3：He chose the same answer as others did. 他選擇了和其他人一樣的答案。（as在從句中作動(dòng)詞did的賓語(yǔ)，did在從句中代替主句的chose）

例4：You may take as much bread as you want.  你想拿多少面包都行。（第二個(gè)as在從句中作動(dòng)詞want的賓語(yǔ)）

例5：There are lots of vegetables here. You can take as many as you want. 這里有很多蔬菜，你想拿多少都行。（第二個(gè)as作動(dòng)詞want 的賓語(yǔ)）

注意：such...that...引導(dǎo)結(jié)果狀語(yǔ)從句（that在從句中不作任何成分，僅僅起連接作用），和such...as...引導(dǎo)定語(yǔ)從句有區(qū)別（as在從句中作主語(yǔ)、賓語(yǔ)或表語(yǔ)）。看下面這個(gè)句子“這個(gè)問(wèn)題如此難以至于沒(méi)人能解決?！钡膬煞N翻譯：

例1：It is such a difficult problem as nobody can solve. （as在定語(yǔ)從句中作solve的賓語(yǔ)）

例2：It is such a difficult problem that nobody can solve it. （that在結(jié)果狀語(yǔ)從句中不作任何成分，所以要用it來(lái)指代problem作solve的賓語(yǔ)）

再看下面這個(gè)句子“她是如此好的一個(gè)老師以至于我們都喜歡她?！钡膬煞N翻譯：

例3：She is such a good teacher as we all like. （as在定語(yǔ)從句中作like的賓語(yǔ)）

例4：She is such a good teacher that we all like her. （that在結(jié)果狀語(yǔ)從句中不作任何成分，所以要用her來(lái)指代she作like的賓語(yǔ)）
