針對(duì)部分cover letter無法下載，已重新上傳，請(qǐng)正確下載 收到了編輯的接受函，沒有那么沖動(dòng)和歡喜的感覺，一切似乎都在合理之中，意外的是又被邀請(qǐng)?jiān)O(shè)計(jì)封面：“Dear **, I am pleased to confirm that your paper '**' has been accepted for publication in**. You are invited to submit either a figure from your article or other illustration that is representative of your manuscript for possible inclusion on the journal cover. If you wish for your figure or illustration to be considered, please carefully follow the instructions in the Guide for Authors at the link below. Please note that we must receive your submission within 10 days of the date of this letter and that this is a competitive process with only one figure selected out of the many submitted for each issue. Due to the number of submissions, you will only receive further correspondence if your image has been selected.” 季老說過“水喝多了，尿自然就有了”。當(dāng)年明月也說過一句話，看多了總有想寫的沖動(dòng)。我看的文獻(xiàn)不多，本方向的文獻(xiàn)看了有三四百篇吧，有些寫得好的文章我就多留意，多關(guān)注作者的思路、想法以及實(shí)驗(yàn)結(jié)果的討論，而對(duì)于有些寫得一般文章我也只是走馬觀花的看看。有些時(shí)候看到一些相關(guān)領(lǐng)域的綜述，我感覺似乎我也有那個(gè)完成一篇綜述的可能性。提筆開始的時(shí)間是去年的國(guó)慶后，由于博士前兩年的時(shí)間幾乎沒有做什么實(shí)驗(yàn)，主要是幫老師干干活，因此就有了寫綜述的時(shí)間了?，F(xiàn)在想想這應(yīng)該是一個(gè)十分大膽沖動(dòng)的想法。這個(gè)過程中最重要的就是堅(jiān)持和耐得住性子對(duì)待每個(gè)繁瑣的小細(xì)節(jié)，每寫一小節(jié)就要下載大量的文獻(xiàn)，大致的看一遍，找到自己需要的東西，然后在分類整合。一開始想著是盡可能的把內(nèi)容寫豐滿起來，把相關(guān)點(diǎn)和邏輯的架子給做好。就是這個(gè)樣子痛苦了兩個(gè)月后幾乎完成了綜述的主體內(nèi)容。我感覺寫綜述這樣的長(zhǎng)文最好是一氣呵成，時(shí)間長(zhǎng)了那么人的倦態(tài)盡顯，時(shí)間跨度久了對(duì)文獻(xiàn)的認(rèn)識(shí)清晰度也會(huì)降低。手稿完成的時(shí)候總共達(dá)到90頁(yè)左右（1.5倍行距，小四），于是問題就出來了，寫的時(shí)候沒有太在意大部分期刊對(duì)于篇幅的限制，這個(gè)給我后來的投稿帶來了很大的問題，致使我這篇綜述跨度了一年之久。 12月份的時(shí)候開始著手投稿事宜，心里面想著這篇文章反正是一時(shí)沖動(dòng)寫的，中了就賺了，不中的話也要體驗(yàn)一下這個(gè)過程。抱著這樣的心態(tài)從領(lǐng)域的一區(qū)雜志開始投。首先投的是一個(gè)5+雜志，呵呵投出去沒幾天韓國(guó)的主編就拒了，據(jù)搞信如下： “Thank you for your submission to *** which I have read with interest. I regret to inform you however, that the manuscript will not be considered further as a review paper submitted to ***, since the work reported in your paper is not a review area of interest to the current ** community. As you know, the community is mainly interested in the current issue on ***. Another thing should be mentioned may be that this is not the way the authors submit a review paper to ***. They should consult to one of the Editors first before the manuscript is submitted, or the Editor will invite a specific author for a hot topic in the area of **. I am sorry not to have better news for you in an earlier stage of the review procedure. I encourage you to submit the manuscript to a more appropriate journal related to the *** and I wish you success with publishing this work. The related journals can be easily confirmed in the citation of your paper submitted. Thank you for your interest in ***.” 這時(shí)候我才知道原來投綜述是要約稿的，內(nèi)容還要與雜志的收錄范圍相復(fù)合，否則就是浪費(fèi)感情和精力。于是我就選了另一個(gè)一區(qū)的雜志，給編輯發(fā)了咨詢信過去了。那個(gè)雜志要求比較嚴(yán)格，要求在信中寫上作者以前的研究成果和研究領(lǐng)域。但是我就是個(gè)雛啊，也許就是這個(gè)原因吧，編輯直接就沒給我回信，眼淚嘩嘩嘩的。沒辦法待從頭收拾舊山河吧，最終選了個(gè)二區(qū)雜志，元旦左右的時(shí)候給編輯發(fā)了封咨詢信過去，很快就收到回信，編輯不錯(cuò)，回信如下： “Dear **, Yes, this is suitable. I assume you published a lot in this field. Is this correct? If not, this is a problem. If yes, please consider the following: 1) Make the review of reasonable length (like up to 35-40 pages as submitted; not printed) 2) Make sure the text is original and nothing copied for literature (Elsevier uses a software to screen the manuscripts for plagiarism). 3) Include also most recent references and if possibly from ** if available.（編輯要我多引這個(gè)雜志的文章，呵呵這就是在刷IF，老外也是雞賊啊，因此大家以后投哪個(gè)雜志就要多引用這個(gè)雜志的文章應(yīng)該沒啥壞處） 4) Make the manuscript very fundamental and strong in intellectual merit/scientific content. It has to be state of the art and critical. 5) If you use any images from published wok (I suggest you minimize these) you need to get permission to reproduce from the respective journals. Regards,”，收到了這封信就快馬加鞭吧，一看自己的篇幅和編輯要求的篇幅相差很大啊，幾乎是編輯要求的2倍了，很是頭疼，在我大力的刪減下最終縮減到70頁(yè)就硬著頭皮投出去了?？上攵?，結(jié)果就悲劇了，據(jù)搞信如下：“Dear **, Thanks for submitting your manuscript to ***. However the manuscript is exceedingly long, over 95 pages int he pdf file. it will be extremely difficult to find a reviewer who will accept to review such a long manuscript. In addition, the manuscript needs to be critical, concise and condensed with rich insights so to be critical. Also, i suggest having no more than 7-8 figures that are absolutely necessary and if taken by other sources to get permission to reproduce. The topic fits with the scope of ** and my section but you need to bring it to sufficient novelty and proper length(no more than 45-50 (absolute maximum) pages, including figures and references. If you decide to resubmit (only if all the concerns and comments are addressed), please send me a direct note before you resubmit confirming all necessary changes are made. I do not want to process a new manuscript which does not address previous concerns. In your submission indicate this is a resubmission of a previously rejected manuscript. Yours sincerely,”收到這封信感覺自己的信心收到很大打擊，加上事情也多了，耽誤了好久的時(shí)間，又在手里待了好幾個(gè)月才開始再刪減，終于壓縮到50頁(yè)左右了，今年4月份的時(shí)候又重投了這個(gè)雜志，由于花費(fèi)的大量的精力和時(shí)間，此時(shí)自己的得失心重了，希望自己能夠?qū)⑦@篇文章收入囊中。一個(gè)多月后投稿狀態(tài)顯示審稿結(jié)束了，但是一個(gè)星期后狀態(tài)又變成under review了，可能這篇文章在審稿人手中有了爭(zhēng)議，找了其他審稿人仲裁了吧，這一段時(shí)間很是緊張，希望自己能夠有個(gè)好運(yùn)氣。七月初的時(shí)候終于收到了編輯的來信： “Dear Dr. **, Reviewers have now commented on your paper. For your guidance, reviewers' comments are appended below. You will see that they are advising that you revise your manuscript. In general, the manuscript needs a lot of work to address the reviewers' comments. If you are prepared to undertake the work required, I would be pleased to reconsider my decision. Please give a careful consideration to the criticisms raised. All of them should be taken into account in a revised version of your manuscript. ”給了大修后頓時(shí)感覺希望有了，但是看了三個(gè)審稿人的評(píng)述后感覺好有壓力啊，尤其是第一個(gè)審稿人一開始就在批評(píng)這篇文章，說什么寫的很爛啊，巴拉巴拉的一大堆，其他兩位的意見還算比較溫和，但是需要補(bǔ)充很多內(nèi)容，審稿人評(píng)語如下： “Reviewer #1: The biggest issue related to this manuscript is the way it is written. Authors must find a native English speaker to help them with the structure of sentences and the manuscript needs to be completely rewritten. This is why it was very difficult for me to read this manuscript and perform a proper review. I tried to correct all the mistakes but stopped when I saw there were just too many. Also, in places, sentences seem to be placed together with no proper order. Reviewer #2: This paper reviews some of the work on ** for **with somewhat of an emphasis on the use of **. The review is of interest and reasonably well written. The review is not comprehensive as this is quite a large topic and some of the references listed below should be consulted for more details on the**. The review provides some useful direction to practical researchers and the reactor diagrams are well presented. The review would be significantly improved if further information on the levels of ** that have been achieved with this technology and that would be the targets for making such technology useful. Reviewer #3: The review manuscript is well written and covers sufficient materials on **. ”。意見總共9頁(yè)左右。這篇文章的修改總共花費(fèi)了我一個(gè)月的時(shí)間，這段時(shí)間是白加黑5加2的工作，很是痛苦。我感覺經(jīng)過這一階段的折騰我的體力、精力和能力都達(dá)到的極限。修改過程中才發(fā)現(xiàn)自己的這篇文章有很多很多的問題，這一切都難逃審稿人的眼睛。首先，文章的語言急需提煉和升華。再者，由于我做的方向是這個(gè)大方向中的一個(gè)，還有好幾個(gè)是并列的，在綜述中我都將其單獨(dú)介紹了，但是這些方面我只涉及了他們的應(yīng)用，對(duì)于理論這一塊可是缺少很多，在工程方面的評(píng)述也很少，因此文章的深度還遠(yuǎn)遠(yuǎn)達(dá)不到綜述的要求。其次，文章的布局比較紊亂，細(xì)節(jié)錯(cuò)誤比較多。總之問題很多啊，有人就說我對(duì)于這么多意見未必能夠改完，對(duì)于這句話深有體會(huì)啊。沒辦法努力的看文獻(xiàn)吧，于是又大量的下載了文獻(xiàn)，才發(fā)現(xiàn)理論方面的文獻(xiàn)很多，而這一塊是我一直欠缺的，研究理論這一塊可是真痛苦，最后感覺自己渾渾噩噩的，每寫完一部分感覺自己就是在逼著自己去寫，心理總是在默念“寫一點(diǎn)就少一點(diǎn)”，有些時(shí)候感覺自己實(shí)在是動(dòng)不了，都有種想哭的沖動(dòng)，心里想當(dāng)初的沖動(dòng)真是給自己帶來了巨大的痛苦，自己以后再也不想弄綜述了。第一個(gè)審稿人及其的刁鉆，工程經(jīng)驗(yàn)豐富，問了許多工程傳質(zhì)和規(guī)模等方面的問題，回答這些審稿意見可是費(fèi)了我許多時(shí)間啊，有時(shí)候幾天也完成不了一個(gè)問題的答復(fù)，甚至有些問題花了我一個(gè)月的時(shí)間思考，在回復(fù)意見里又應(yīng)用了大量的模型，公式，圖片。就這樣一步步，又將manuscript從40頁(yè)又?jǐn)U充到了60頁(yè)，加上圖表估計(jì)又有70多頁(yè)了，最后在快到截止日期是提交上去了。感覺自己一下子輕松了好多。9月中旬接到二審意見，編輯給的是小修，審稿人的意見是： “Reviewer #1: The review is well written even though English could be improved. Nevertheless, if the Editor agrees, I recommend for it to be published in the present form. Here are some minor comments the authors should consider addressing. No need to send me backs the answers. Reviewer #2: The authors have performed a very thorough revision to the manuscript and it acceptable for publication.” 俗話說的好凡事就怕認(rèn)真二字，說的很對(duì)，感覺自己的努力轉(zhuǎn)變了審稿人的對(duì)文章的觀念。因此接下來接收是早晚的事情了。 打心里來說，寫綜述真是一個(gè)鍛煉人的過程。如果你只是描述實(shí)驗(yàn)結(jié)果和別人的研究?jī)?nèi)容，那么寫綜述對(duì)于作者和讀者來說就是在浪費(fèi)時(shí)間，任何問題的分析都要深入到理論層次和工程應(yīng)用的角度，要從一篇或者多篇文章中的研究現(xiàn)象建立起自己的模型或者結(jié)論，要理論聯(lián)系實(shí)際，從根本上闡述問題的本質(zhì)。要先闡述理論，在通過別人的實(shí)驗(yàn)結(jié)果驗(yàn)證理論。以前寫文章總喜歡重點(diǎn)描述實(shí)驗(yàn)數(shù)據(jù)，怎么用好的語言去描繪數(shù)據(jù)的變化。但是經(jīng)此過程，寫起文章來總喜歡從理論層次去闡述問題，感覺這就是個(gè)進(jìn)步。此外，如果你完成了這樣一篇長(zhǎng)文的寫作，修改過程，那么你對(duì)文章的掌控能力更強(qiáng)了，對(duì)于文章的俯視角度更高了，因此對(duì)于一般小論文的撰寫就會(huì)更加的得心應(yīng)手。改完這篇文章后我又接連完成了兩篇小論文的修改，看到之前的寫法瞬時(shí)感覺自己以前寫的好垃圾，很膚淺，此時(shí)修改起來就得心應(yīng)手了，理論上都得到了加強(qiáng)。也希望這個(gè)暑假兩個(gè)月修改的三篇文章都有好的結(jié)果，保佑吧。 我沒有看過中文綜述，也沒有寫過中文文章，因此最后以我的短見來談?wù)凷CI綜述的撰寫。 1. 首先要完成數(shù)百篇文獻(xiàn)的閱讀，沒有大閱讀就無法支撐綜述的大篇幅，最起碼要了解在這個(gè)領(lǐng)域內(nèi)國(guó)際國(guó)內(nèi)上有哪幾個(gè)課題組一直是領(lǐng)先的，他們的各自特色是什么，都做到什么地步了。要對(duì)理論上的東西有個(gè)深刻的認(rèn)識(shí)，因?yàn)槲沂亲瞿撤N技術(shù)的工程類應(yīng)用的，在前期缺少了對(duì)理論的深入學(xué)習(xí)，因此后期的修改給我增加了巨大的工作量。怎么看文獻(xiàn)這里我不想說得太多，每個(gè)人都有每個(gè)人的特點(diǎn)，我看文獻(xiàn)從來不做筆記，從來不劃重點(diǎn)，我只關(guān)心他做了什么，有什么特色，以后再看到這篇文章能夠大致的了解他的研究?jī)?nèi)容即可。我看到實(shí)驗(yàn)室有些研究生看文獻(xiàn)，一天下來就看了一篇，第一個(gè)單詞不認(rèn)識(shí)就查字典，一篇文獻(xiàn)看下來，生詞倒是記了好幾頁(yè)，句子翻譯也做了大量的筆記，感覺這個(gè)就是在浪費(fèi)時(shí)間，他就是在學(xué)英語，而不是讀文獻(xiàn)。 2. 最起碼要發(fā)過SCI吧，至少要對(duì)這個(gè)流程和形式有所了解。不然一上來就發(fā)一篇SCI的綜述談何容易??！ 3. 寫初稿時(shí)，不管寫的如何最起碼要首先把量給加上去，只有量上去了才能夠?yàn)橐院蟮男薷奶峁┗A(chǔ)。初稿就要有個(gè)合理的邏輯順序，沒必要舉那么多例子，只要提及相關(guān)工作即可。 4. 每部分的工作盡量一氣呵成，初稿就用一段時(shí)間寫完，同樣修改時(shí)也是，這樣效率比較高。 5. 每當(dāng)干不下去的時(shí)候就要有個(gè)好的心態(tài)，有個(gè)動(dòng)力。我寫文章從來沒有得到來自外力的幫助，連寫第一篇SCI的時(shí)候都沒有咨詢過任何人，老師也沒有問過我發(fā)文章的事情，很多事情都不清楚，只能自己一步一步摸索著，第一篇SCI前后在手里整了有一年左右才中。此外，要對(duì)繪圖的細(xì)節(jié)問題精益求精，我所有的圖都是重新繪制的，加上了彩色，繪圖的時(shí)候很是繁瑣，有些圖前前后后甚至修改了數(shù)十遍，有時(shí)一天都不能弄完一幅圖一個(gè)表。此時(shí)就要有個(gè)好心態(tài)，心里想一想，干完這一點(diǎn)就離成功更近一步了，加油吧騷年！ 6. 審稿意見的回復(fù)很是關(guān)鍵。一定要認(rèn)真。在我的審稿意見中，審稿人對(duì)文章的一個(gè)詞語不是很理解，其實(shí)是一個(gè)儀器的元件。為了形象的表述這個(gè)東西，我把我們實(shí)驗(yàn)室?guī)兹f的那臺(tái)儀器給拆了，給那個(gè)部件拍了好幾張照了，然后在放在回復(fù)意見里。你想想你是審稿人看到了會(huì)不會(huì)能夠感受到我的重視和努力呢。此外，回復(fù)意見一定要全面。比如審稿人問我，在某個(gè)過程中會(huì)不會(huì)有某個(gè)負(fù)面問題出現(xiàn)。為了回答這個(gè)問題，我首先從理論上闡述有沒有這個(gè)問題，有了這個(gè)問題，那么誰和誰做了相關(guān)的研究，他們的結(jié)論如何，既然有了這個(gè)問題了，那么一般的處理方法是什么，效果怎么樣。當(dāng)你全面的闡述了這個(gè)問題，而不是只回答了一句“yes, this problem may occur in this process”審稿人還不會(huì)對(duì)你刮目相看？（我只審過幾篇文章，此處完全是個(gè)人感覺，權(quán)屬臆測(cè)，大牛不要介意吾等短見） 7. 最后我想用我老板每次告訴我的話“想要成功的人已經(jīng)成功了一半！” 最后我花了點(diǎn)時(shí)間匯總了一下我在投稿中的涉及的一些信件，希望對(duì)大家有用，順便賺點(diǎn)金幣，為了這篇綜述在壇子里求文章花了不少。[ Last edited by 547475289 on 2013-9-22 at 08:53 ] 這篇綜述論文在今年被選為“2014年度中國(guó)百篇最具影響國(guó)際學(xué)術(shù)論文”，謝謝蟲友的支持 [ Last edited by 547475289 on 2015-11-21 at 15:49 ] |
