O Solitude! if I must with thee dwell,

Let it not be among the jumbled heap，

背景知識：

約翰·濟慈（JohnKeats，1795年—1821年）出生于18世紀(jì)末年的倫敦，他是杰出的英詩作家之一，也是浪漫派的主要成員。濟慈自幼喜愛文學(xué)，由于家境窘困，不滿16歲就離校學(xué)醫(yī)。1816年，他認(rèn)識了李·亨特、雪萊等著名詩人，受到他們的影響。11月，他棄醫(yī)從文，走上了詩歌創(chuàng)作的道路。終于成為當(dāng)時英國文壇上一顆光彩奪目的巨星。濟慈創(chuàng)作的第一首詩是《仿斯賓塞》，接著又寫了許多優(yōu)秀的十四行詩，他的這些早期詩作收集在1817年3月出版的第一本《詩集》中。次年，他根據(jù)古希臘一個美麗神話寫成的《安狄米恩》問世，全詩想象豐富，色彩絢麗，洋溢著對自由的渴望，表現(xiàn)了反古典主義的進步傾向。1818年到1820年，是濟慈詩歌創(chuàng)作的鼎盛時期，他先后完成了《伊莎貝拉》、《圣亞尼節(jié)前夜》、《許佩里恩》等著名長詩，最膾炙人口的《夜鶯頌》、《希臘古甕頌》、《秋頌》等名篇也是在這一時期內(nèi)寫成的。
